A useful guide to choosing kiln dried logs
The best kiln dried log option involves considering what works best for your routine. Before placing an order, consider:
-
Frequency of use: Think about how often you use your stove or burner throughout the year to help determine how much premium kiln dried wood you are likely to need.
-
Heating requirements: Consider how much warmth you typically need from your fire and how important it is to your regular home heating routine.
-
Available storage: Take into account the amount of space you have available to keep your logs stored safely and conveniently.
-
Quantity needed: Consider your typical fuel consumption and how much you are likely to use between purchases.
-
Existing heating arrangements: Think about how your logs fit into your wider home heating setup, particularly if you also use home heating oil.
-
Fuel budget: Consider how much you want to spend on your heating fuel while choosing an option that provides enough logs for your usual usage.
Why order kiln dried logs from Carlisle Fuels?
Choosing Carlisle Fuels means dealing with an established fuel supplier rather than simply purchasing logs as a standalone product. The team can provide a consistent point of contact for your heating fuel needs, helping you make informed choices based on how you use your home heating. The wider range of fuel products also means you can source different heating requirements from the same supplier as your needs change throughout the year.
